Eric Dominic Guzman Killed in Motorcycle Accident

Tucson, Arizona—A motorcycle accident at First Avenue and Alturas Street on Sunday night claimed the life of Erik Dominic Guzman, age 23.  Mr. Guzman was riding his Yamaha YZFR1 northbound on First Avenue when a Jeep Gladiator eastbound on Alturas Street failed to yield at a stop sign. The Jeep Gladiator, driven by Daniel W. Foster, collided with the motorcycle operated by Mr. Guzman.

Tucson Fire Department first responders pronounced Mr. Guzman deceased upon their arrival.  Tucson Police arrested and charged Foster with failure to yield at a stop sign, driving while impaired and manslaughter.  He was booked at the Pima County Jail where additional charges may be pending.
